This year, the ENLIGHT Student Network organised an online Sustainable Week in honour of Earth Day on 22 April 2024. During the week from 22 to 26 April, the communication channels of our Student Network were full of posts showcasing sustainability practices of students and different student-led organisations at our partner universities.

During the discussion, we will explore critical questions including the fundamental purpose of thesis writing, how the use of generative AI impacts equity, and the importance of transparency regarding AI utilization by students. The next ENLIGHT - Public Engagement webinar 7: Engaging with the cultural sector will take place on Thursday 16 May 2024, 12.30 - 13.30pm (CET)
Yorick Karseboom (Knowledge Center Philosophy) and Vincent Hazelhoff (Science Shop Language, Communication and Culture) of the University of Groningen will speak about their engaged learning projects with the cultural sector. They have collaborated in collaborative research and student projects with e.g. theatres, music venues, and festivals (e.g. on inclusivity), and small museums; in courses such as “philosophy outside the walls”, “practice labs”, “living heritage atelier” and through hackathons, internships, and projects.
