Second ENLIGHT Incubator Week at the University of Göttingen

Between 29 September and 2 October teaching academics from the ENLIGHT alliance met in Göttingen for networking and the development of joint teaching and learning initiatives.

The Incubator Week combines programme or topic specific matchmaking with input on curriculum design and teaching formats in the context of international partnerships.

The aim of the format is to facilitate the collaborative development of action plans for the implementation of international learning activities in the curricula. Networking sessions aimed at bringing the colleagues from four different disciplinary areas into dialogue with one another and spark ideas for joint educational activities. A workshop was dedicated to the different modalities of international teaching and learning – our ENLIGHT Stepping Stones – which offer a model for designing study programmes with an integrated international experience. This was followed by intense work sessions in which the groups planned their initiatives and discussed responsibilities and next steps.

The event was very well received. “Excellent experience, pleasant interactions, great people, new knowledge, inspiration for teaching” one participant summed up their experiences in Göttingen.
