Peer-Learning on Administrative Practices & Hurdles across ENLIGHT, and beyond

The ENLIGHT Staff Training week taking place in Bilbao from 21 to 23 October tackles mobility management of digital platforms, Master admission procedures and Technology Transfer matters.

50 participants including 30 members of ENLIGHT partners have met in Bilbao in this administrative event gathering officers and managers from three different services, with a view to share their daily practice (structures, resources, achievements and difficulties) and explore the cooperative potential of their services across the alliance.

We are glad to see that members from non-ENLIGHT partners are participating in this event, too. This includes not only members from other European Countries, but also members from the United States and South Africa.

During this week, the International Relations office at the University of the Basque Country is hosting sessions on how to best deal with digital platforms for the management of student and staff mobility programmes – what to expect, how to make the most of them, lessons learnt from experience, and others. The Postgraduate – specifically Master´s-admission Departments got together with a view to share their administrative and regulatory frames and ways to avoid counterfeit documents and fraud. Moreover, the Technological Transfer office organised a gathering to strengthen the bonds with colleagues from other partners dealing with the university´s third pillar.

The event was opened by the rector, vice rector for Transfer and Internationalization and the director for ENLIGHT at the University of the Basque Country. As usual, a casual cultural and social programme completed the event agenda.
