Join AI in Health Care: HINT Innovator Summit & Annual Conference in Ghent

This December, Ghent University invites ENLIGHT academics to take part in two major international events exploring the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Health Care — bringing together researchers, practitioners, policy makers, and innovators from across Europe.

Participation for ENLIGHT Academics

ENLIGHT academics can attend the HINT Innovator Summit free of charge. Those interested, please contact your ENLIGHT liaison at your home university, rather than registering directly on the event website. To facilitate coordination, and given the limited number of places available, we encourage interested academics to reach out early to secure their spot, ideally by 21 November 2025.

To make the most of your visit, participants are also invited to explore additional opportunities in Ghent during the same week. In the days leading up to the summit, the city will host another major conference on the same theme, offering complementary insights and networking opportunities.

From 2 to 4 December 2025, Ghent welcomes the Annual Conference of the European Institute for Innovation through Health Data (i~HD Annual Conference 2025), themed “A decade of joining the dots. Towards bridging data spaces.” The conference will examine how data ecosystems and artificial intelligence are reshaping the future of healthcare research and practice. For this conference, standard registration and participation fees apply, as the event is organised independently of ENLIGHT. More information here: i~HD Annual Conference 2025.

Both HINT.Gent and the ENLIGHT team are happy to help facilitate bilateral meetings with relevant colleagues at Ghent University to support future collaboration.
