As an enabler of quality and impact, Open Science plays a key role in the ENLIGHT universities’ higher education transformation agendas. It is a powerful driver for transparency, accountability and reusability and increases collaboration. In November 2023 the 10 ENLIGHT Rectors endorsed joint Open Science principles as a common basis for an Open Science culture. We are dedicated to promoting collaboration and transparency in the academic community. We organize joint webinars with the Arqus Alliance to discuss the benefits and challenges of Open Science and to actively encourage dialogue. Our Ambassador Network connects researchers across institutions, advocating for open science. We reward Open Science activities and projects through our ENLIGHT Open Science Award. Our Open Science toolkit offers resources and guidance to learn more about Open Science practices.
