OPEN SCIENCE

Open Science

ENLIGHT is committed to an "open by default" approach for its teaching, research, outreach, and engagement activities. The broad promotion of Open Science benefits science and society. Our Open Science principles include training and sharing good practices, implementing FAIR data principles, ensuring unrestricted Open Access to publications, supporting Open Education materials, and promoting Responsible Research Assessment.

Open Science Ambassador Network

Promoting innovative Open Science WorkflowsThe ENLIGHT Open Science Ambassador Network brings together researchers at ENLIGHT universities that are enthusiastic and outspoken supporters of Open Science principles and practices. As a liaison between the researchers in their university on the one hand and the ENLIGHT consortium on the other, they act as multipliers across disciplinary networks at regional, national and thematic level. The ambassadors increase  conversations around Open Science, cultivate awareness, foster openness, encourage Open Science engagement within the ENLIGHT community and communicate domain specific requirements  into the ENLIGHT Open Science Network.

Open Science Toolkit

Our toolkit aims to provide essential information for researchers, students, and other people affiliated to ENLIGHT partner universities on Open Science (OS), with a focus on Open Access (OA) and Research Data Management (RDM).
