ENLIGHT Symposium on Green Labs & Sustainable Research Practices
Registration is now open for the ENLIGHT Symposium on Green Labs & Sustainable Research Practices, taking place on 8–9 April 2026 in Groningen, the Netherlands. The symposium is organised within the framework of an ENLIGHT+ funded initiative stemming from the Green Network and coordinated by the University of Groningen.

The event will bring together researchers, sustainability professionals, laboratory managers, students and policy staff from across the ENLIGHT alliance to exchange knowledge and practical approaches for reducing the environmental footprint of research laboratories.
About the Symposium
This two-day symposium will focus on sharing concrete tools, frameworks and best practices to advance sustainable lab operations across European universities. It aims to strengthen collaboration within the ENLIGHT Green Labs Network and foster a community of practice dedicated to sustainable research.
