Join us for an enlightening and inspiring exploration into the future of energy at our upcoming event, "The Future of Energy" on January 17th at 3 pm CET
As our world grapples with the challenges of climate change, this gathering aims to showcase innovative solutions and cutting-edge technologies that will shape the way we harness and utilize energy in the years to come.
In the upcoming lecture, four experts from ENLIGHT universities will share their insights from current research to the future of energy, a sustainable revolution:
- Luka Tas (Ghent University): The future of aquifer thermal energy storage systems: targeting complex aquifers and informed decision-making"
- Le Zhang (Ghent University): How to Safely and Efficiently Extract Geothermal Energy in Deep Mines
- Rory Monaghan (University of Galway): What role can green hydrogen play in a fully decarbonised energy system?
- Ana Picallo (University of the Basque Country): Future of Energy in Buildings Thermal Confort
All members from the ENLIGHT community, external partners and wider public are welcome to join the lecture. You can register and participate in a Zoom Session or tune in on the ENLIGHT Youtube Channel where the lecture will be broadcasted live. Registration for the Zoom Session is possible via the website of the University of Göttingen.
Networking event after the lecture for researchers from ENLIGHT universities
Each lecture is followed by a networking event for the scientific community. In the brand-new virtual space, the researchers from ENLIGHT universities can not only continue the discussion on the lecture`s topic but also use the opportunity to identify common research interests. This event serves as a platform for developing new ideas for future cooperation within the network. The ENLIGHT team supports this process by providing insights on funding opportunities. Researchers from all stages are more than welcome to join in! Please register here.
