The 'Aging' subgroup originates from the ENLGHT RISE Focus Groups on Health and Well-being and focusses on aging in its broadest sense. The subgroup strives to bring the experts on this topic together from all 10 ENLIGHT partner universities.
Prof. Greet Cardon (UGent) invites you for the start-up meeting of the ENLIGHT research group on “aging” on Tuesday 17 October, 2023, 10-12 am CEST.
With the ultimate intent of exploring possibilities for research collaboration this first meeting will focus on getting acquainted and sharing information on the research/activities regarding “aging” at the partner universities and creating first linkages.
Provisional agenda of the meeting:
- ‘Tour de table’ of all participants (1-2 ppt slides per person on their research on aging)
- Presentation Gray (UGent interdisciplinary research center on “aging young”)
- Presentation Agewell Erasmus plus project (UTartu ENLIGHT collaboration on aging) (TBC)
- Discussion list of potentially interesting Horizon Europe and regional/national calls
We welcome researchers from all fields whose research/focus is (remotely) linked to “aging” and invite you to join the meeting on Tuesday 17 October, 2023, 10-12 am CEST.
You can use this link to access the teams meeting on 17/10
Interested researchers willing to participate are kindly requested to leave their contact details on the following list: https://forms.gle/A7ZfdkJjiGUToWiR9
We will then send them the template for the personal presentation (max. 2 sides) and grant them access to the ENLIGHT Aging SharePoint.
Interested researchers unable to attend but still wishing to be kept informed can also indicate this on this list: https://forms.gle/A7ZfdkJjiGUToWiR9
Already some 20+ researchers have expressed interest in this networking opportunity. We still welcome registrations for the event or expression of interest to be kept in the loop for the event.
