After more than three years of research, innovation and development, ADAS&ME (Adaptive ADAS to support incapacitated drivers Mitigate Effectively risks through tailor made HMI under automation) H2020 project consortium including the NUI Galway and Uppsala University organized its final event in Barcelona.
The preparations started at IDIADA headquarters started already on Saturday 30th November 2019 and continued on Sunday with a great shooting session to the demonstrator vehicles developed at Use Cases framework: electric vehicle, motorbike, conventional car and truck. On Tuesday 3rd December, the day started with an overview of the project from the coordinator Anna Anund and ADAS&ME technical manager Evangelos Bekiaris and continued with the demonstrations of Use Cases at test tracks. After the networking lunch, it was the turn for the exhibition stands and posters of all ADAS&ME systems. The final event ended with the discussion and summary. The week concluded with the 2nd review of the project and the definition of the next steps of the project until the end (February 2020) and beyond.
