Glossary:

  • Blended intensive programme: consists of an online component and a short on-site component hosted by the organizing university. This format can be Erasmus+ funded.
  • Virtual course: all lessons and assessments are carried out online.
  • Physical course: all lessons are carried out physically (on-site), hosted by the organizing university.

This interdisciplinary course will give you an increased understanding of the complex relationship between migration and health and the ethical principles connected to it. You will also gain knowledge about how different definitions and the migratory process impacts the health of migrants and how health outcomes will vary for different groups of migrants.

The course aims at increasing knowledge about the psychosocial aspects of cardiovascular disease. The course content will cover causes of mental illness in cardiovascular disease and psychological treatments in this setting. Risk factor management is a major challenge for both primary and secondary prevention and it is, to a large extent, behavioural.

The course deals with the effects of environmental problems on health from a neurological perspective. The aim is to provide an overview of the mechanisms behind the environmental risks and, at the same time, provide instruments to analyze the issues and develop strategies to solve them.
