My engagement with/interest in Open Science:
My interest in Open Science started when (many years ago) several attempts to collect data from published papers did not succeed or were even met with the threat of repercussions (I was a grad student at that time and somewhat scared of a rapid career end). Things in Psychology (and many other disciplines) changed and after participating in several replication studies, publishing guidelines to learn about open science and teaching open science courses at my university I have a much more positive view on this topic, although there is still much to do.
