Experiences with Interculturality and Diversity around Critical Virtual Exchange
Join us from May 4th until May 6th 2026 at the University of Göttingen the final outreach conference from the Erasmus+ project ROCKET with the title Experiences with Interculturality and Diversity around Critical Virtual Exchange !
- How can we account for diversity in higher education and promote equal opportunities?
- How can we adapt to a teaching context which not only becomes increasingly intercultural, but has also moved from the analog into the digital realm in recent years?
- And how can we navigate the conflicts that arise, learn about ourselves, and foster the wellbeing of students, lecturers, and administrative staff alike?
These are some of the questions which the Erasmus+ project ROCKET, an innovative project co-funded by the Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnerships program aimed to answer. The project develops a working concept for Critical Virtual Exchange which implements role-playing games for conflict transformation and fosters deeper understanding of issues relating to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
For the project’s third and final Outreach Conference, we invite contributions which address one of the project areas and place a strong focus on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. We are interested in bringing together a diverse set of perspectives, which is why participants can bring a background in research, teaching or administration in the higher education sector. The main language of the conference will be English. There is no participation fee and we offer a 300€ travel subsidiary to all speakers.
