On Monday, 6 February, Comenius University in Bratislava held the opening ceremony for international students.
During spring semester Comenius University will host 136 international students from 20 countries. “At Comenius we are very proud to welcome also students from the ENLIGHT alliance, from the University of the Basque country, Uppsala University and the University of Tartu,” says the Head of Erasmus+ office in Bratislava.
Students arrived one week before the official beginning of the semester, for the University has prepared a Welcome Week with a special programme. All incoming students can take an intensive Survival Slovak language course for a week. Besides that, they have an opportunity to take part in a free guided tour of the Bratislava city centre, and students from ESN will provide newcomers with useful tips for social events and living in Bratislava.
