Summer Schools “Health & Globalization” and "Sexual & Reproductive Health & Rights" (Ghent, 3-14 July 2022)
The Ghent University Medical Students Association is proud to announce the new edition of the Summer School, covering an 11-day education program from 3 to 14 July 2022. Applicants can choose between two different subjects: “Health & Globalization” or "Sexual & Reproductive Health & Rights".
Both summmer schools are student-driven programmes organized in close cooperation with the Ghent University medical faculty and the ENLIGHT universities.
Students from all over the world are invited to join the 11-days programme. The goal of the programme is to broaden the participants’ horizons through interactive lectures and workshops by renowned international experts in their fields. It aims to raise awareness concerning global issues such as family planning, female rights and sexual education as well as to stimulate international research concerning infectious diseases and migrants’ health related issues. Participants will be given the opportunity to cooperate with students from different cultures and nationalities, and discuss opinions concerning ethical issues and legal frameworks.
The programmes are open to all students, post-graduates and PhD students, integrated in the faculties of Medicine and Health Sciences, Psychology, Law, Political and Social Sciences and Linguistics and Philosophy.
