If you are passionate about AI and healthcare and have an entrepreneurial spirit, you are welcome to the AIProHealth Summer School, which offers an intensive learning experience for students, postdocs, junior specialists, and startup employees in AI, medicine, and business who focus on innovation in medical technology.
At the event you will learn about AI's technical, ethical, and legal aspects in healthcare and gain entrepreneurial experience in bringing AI solutions to the healthcare market.
In the on-site programme in Tartu on 11–15 August, you will receive lectures from experts, have guided discussions, and put everything into practice in a hackathon. During the online hackathon on 16–28 August, you will team up with other students to develop a prototype for a business case, for example, implementing an AI solution to a healthcare problem.
Register now! The deadline is already 25 May. The Summer School fee is 350 euros for students based in the European Union and 250 euros for students based in RIS countries.
Before the Summer School on-site programme, you must pass two self-paced online courses, which will be sent to you after the registration. For the hackathon, you are welcome to indicate if you want to team up with other specific participants.
Transportation and accommodation costs are not included. If you are coming from outside of Tartu, you can apply for a travel grant that will help cover the costs of travelling and accommodation if you are qualified. The exact amount of the grant is decided after the face-to-face week. The course fee also does not cover participants' breakfast and dinners during the summer school.
More information and registration can be found on the event’s webpage.
