Possibility to join the dialogue on Gender Equality – Regional Academy event in collaboration with SERA-ENLIGHT Thematic Network
The ENLIGHT Thematic Network SExual and Reproductive heAlth and rights in the European region (SERA) invites researchers to join the “International Conference on Gender Equality 2027 (ICGE).”

Location: Uppsala University, Sweden
Founded by the universities of Uppsala, Gent, and Tartu, SERA aims to support a Europe where everyone—regardless of age, gender, location, or socio-economic background—has access to comprehensive, evidence-based, and rights-based sexual and reproductive health information and services. The network positions SRHR not just as a health concern, but as a cornerstone of social justice, gender equality, youth empowerment, and sustainable development.
International Conference on Gender Equality (ICGE) is a global cooperation space dedicated to strengthening bridges between North–South, regions, institutions, and generations in shaping sustainable solutions for present and future generations.
Over three days, the conference will facilitate evidence-informed dialogue, knowledge exchange, and strategic partnership-building across sectors and regions, fostering collaborative action to address some of the most pressing challenges and emerging priorities in SRHR, maternal health, and sustainable development.
