ENLIGHT contributes to strategic dialogue on impact at FOREU4ALL Workshop in Granada
Representatives of ENLIGHT played an active role at the second FOREU4ALL Workshop in Granada. The event brought together professionals from European University Alliances to discuss how project management and impact assessment can better support long-term institutional transformation.
Held at the Universidad de Granada, the workshop explored how alliances can move beyond reporting obligations toward meaningful and sustainable change. Discussions focused on topics such as impact assessment, data collection, governance, collaboration, and the role of alliance staff in supporting transformation across higher education institutions.
ENLIGHT was represented by Glória Nunes Rodrigues, Co-chair of the FOREU4ALL Impact Topical Group and ENLIGHT Impact Task Force Leader, who spoke during the plenary session “What is Management and Impact in the European University Alliances context?” Delfien Cloet, member of the FOREU4ALL Project Management Topical Group, acted as rapporteur for the breakout session on data collection and analysis and presented its conclusions during the plenary reporting session. Igor Campillo Santos also contributed by presenting a joint ENLIGHT poster prepared together with Glória Nunes Rodrigues and Delfien Cloet.
Reflecting on the workshop, Glória Nunes Rodrigues highlighted the collaborative spirit behind the event:
Delfien Cloet added:
A key takeaway from the workshop was that impact should not be treated as an add-on, but embedded throughout the design, implementation and management of alliance activities. Participants also stressed the importance of combining data and indicators with storytelling, reflection and long-term learning to better capture the real value of European University Alliances.
