Support activities for Ukrainian students and academics at ENLIGHT universities

All ENLIGHT universities have set up specific actions to support academics and students affected by the war in Ukraine. This page lists the most important actions per partner.

ENLIGHT is appalled by the Russian invasion in Ukraine, which has taken the lives of innocent civilians. We explicitly condemn any form of violence or attack against human well-being. As a European University we strongly believe in sovereignty, tolerance, democracy, dialogue and non-violent resolution of conflict. These values underpin our academic cooperation across national boundaries and are fundamental to empower students and staff to become globally engaged citizens who strive for a peaceful, sustainable equitable society and human well-being. Read also our joint statement with the 41 European University alliances.

While our thoughts are with our colleagues, students, relatives and friends in the affected territories and in distress about the uncertain fate of loved ones, our universities are all mobilized to help staff and students in need.

All ENLIGHT universities have set up specific actions to support academics and students affected by the war in Ukraine, and to prepare for hosting Ukrainian refugees.

This page lists the main actions per partner and links to the specific institutional pages. Please check for regular updates. As we speak, ENLIGHT is further looking into more coordinated actions.
