New Frontiers in structure-based drug discovery (Florence, 23-25 September 2019)

The Marie Skłodowska - Curie European Training Networks AEGIS and TASPPI organized the common international conference “New Frontiers in Structure-Based Drug Discovery” on September 23-25, 2019 at Convitto della Calza in Florence, Italy.

Attracting a high-level audience of researchers, the conference provided a stimulating platform to discuss with academic experts and scientists from biotech and pharmaceutical industries. Topics included innovative screens on protein-protein interactions, novel targets and target validation, structure-based drug discovery, computational approaches and more.

Furthermore, the platform provided a valuable platform to discuss the challenges and opportunities of modern drug discovery in academia and industry. In order to foster interaction and discussions in the field an exceptional group of internationally renowned experts on the topic of drug discovery held lectures during the event.
