Summary
Hosted by the Sustainability Office at University of Galway, this staff week aims to showcase the flagship sustainability iniatives at University of Galway. Sustainability is a core value at the University of Galway, enshrined in our Strategic Plan 2025-2030 and our Climate Action and Sustainability Policy. Sustainability and the SDGs are at the heart of everything we do.
The Sustainability Office is a team of University of Galway staff that leads and promotes sustainability in all aspects of University learning and research, culture, operations and governance structures, and empowers our diverse communities of staff, students and partners to co-create tomorrow's sustainable campus and deliver the Sustainable Development Goals. For this staff week, we invite participants working in similar areas of their campuses to learn more about our iniatives and also to reflect on sustainability in practice.

Programme
Preliminary programme
Day 1 - Discussion and tour of University of Galway sustainability iniatives.
Day 2 - Off Campus Experience at a satellite campus focusing on unique biodiversity and energy efficent practices in action.
Day 3 - Workshop, Presentation and Discussion.
Target group
Staff working to improve sustainability practices across their campuses.
