Global Dialogues

How can we make our campuses and communities sustainable?

The ENLIGHT Global Dialogue invites student organisations/associations from the ENLIGHT partner universities and across the globe to talk about student–led sustainability initiatives and share best practice. The event will take place online to facilitate global participation.


If you are part of a student society or organisation and you believe you have made a difference in promoting sustainability either on campus or in your community we invite you to submit your proposal for presentation. 

Submitted proposals will be evaluated by a panel consisting of academics, students and external representatives.   • Description of the sustainability challenge addressed by the project. 
  • Relevance for the theme of sustainability in our campuses and communities (SDG 11). 
  • Local impact on the community / campus.
  • New innovative ideas.


We welcome projects that view sustainability from either an economic, social or environmental perspective.

The projects selected will be presented to a global audience during the ENLIGHT Global Dialogue. One project will then be selected to receive the ENLIGHT Global Citizenship Award which includes travel and accommodation to participate in an ENLIGHT conference in May or June 2023. 

Submit your organisation’s proposal by filling in the registration form by December 9. In the registration you should include two to four people to represent the organisation/association.

All participants must be registered students at one of the ENLIGHT universities or a university located in a country outside of the European Union.

  • Spreading awareness of the work being done in your own community, including representation on the ENLIGHT YouTube channel.
  • Presenting at an international event is a great addition to your CV.
  • Learning from peers.
