STUDENT NETWORK

The ENLIGHT Student Network brings together official student representatives from the 10 ENLIGHT universities representing the interests of over 330.000 students of ENLIGHT in policy- and decision-making of ENLIGHT and building a European student community. In total, the Student Network consists of 20 people – 2 per ENLIGHT university

The Governance team ensures the students’ perspective is considered at all levels of decision making of the alliance. To achieve this, the Governance team takes on a formal role in the different ENLIGHT boards, and actively participates in the working groups. This way we ensure that the students’ voices are heard during the policy- and decision-making process.

The Community team is responsible for creating a vibrant ENLIGHT community of students where they know what opportunities ENLIGHT provides and feel at home wherever they go across the 10 partners. To do this the Community teams prepare content for social media, oversee the alliance's merchandise, and organize conferences and events at the universities that are part of ENLIGHT!

The Student Board organizes, supervises and directs the workload of the Student Network. The Student Board is also the bridge between the Student Network and staff, making sure the ENLIGHT Student Network is best involved in all aspects of ENLIGHT. In addition, the Student Board is an active and voting member of the Governing Board, to make sure students' perspectives are represented in the long-term and strategic decision making of ENLIGHT.
