The 'Aging' subgroup originates from the ENLGHT RISE Focus Groups on Health and Well-being and focusses on aging in its broadest sense. The subgroup strives to bring the experts on this topic together from all 10 ENLIGHT partner universities.

The UG Supervisory Board has appointed Prof. Jacquelien Scherpen as Rector Magnificus and member of the Board of the University of Groningen. The appointment will cover a period of four years, starting on 1 September 2023. Jacquelien Scherpen succeeds Cisca Wijmenga, the previous rector magnificus.

The ENLIGHT (European inter-university network) promotes innovative teaching and learning approaches, one of them being the Challenge-Based Education (CBE) methodology and this is a call for participants in the 4^th edition of the CBE training sessions for educators.
