| | 30% increase in the proposals submitted to present at the upcoming ENLIGHT Teaching & Learning Conference | A clear sign of the success of this event, our Uppsala colleagues -this year´s edition organizers- received no less than 172 submissions by academics, education developpers and students of all ENLIGHT partners. The fifth Teaching and Learning Conference will take place from October 8th to 10th. As usual, excellent and innovative academic initiatives within our alliance will be acknowledged during the T&L Awards Ceremony. | | | |

| Aware of the importance of physical proximity for community building, our colleagues from the ENLIGHT green office present a new guide to make onsite events more inclusive, diverse and sustainable. An event-organization checklist, a new food policy and a guide to more inclusive and accessible activities are the new tools they have developped to support meetings and events organizers. | | | |

| | ENLIGHT walks hand in hand with its cities, regions and communities
| Disciplinary and institutional silos need to be overcome for our communities to acquire the skills required for effective collaboration. On this assumption, the mid-year meeting held at beautiful Bordeaux aimed at tuning academic endeavour into the cities or regions demands. Comenius University will host the next general meeting, due to take place in December 2025. | | | |

| | Student-led projects nominated for this year´s Diversity & Inclusion Award and Sustainability Award | ENLIGHT is strongly engaged to promote inclusive, sustainable and impactful learning communities across Europe. All student nominees has tackled an urgent societal challenge with creativity, empathy, and hands-on engagement — from climate action and food security to physical accessibility and social equity. The finalists and winners will be acknowledged at the upcoming T&L Conference in Uppsala. | | | |
