We are INTERDIS research group (7 professors of Pedagogy, Psychopedagogy, Psychology, Sociology... teaching the University of the Basque Country. We work with local professionals dealing with vulnerable children and children at risk of exclusion in the Basque Country.
We currently study the impact of the interdisciplinary perspective on the development of students' competencies through the methodology of Inquiry Based Learning (IBL) and Case Study. Our goal is to analyze the influence of this interdisciplinary practice on the development of critical thinking, teamwork, autonomy and self-regulation. To this aim, we are conducting a mixed study with a quantitative and qualitative research design that incorporates a variety of data collection techniques.
We are looking for ENLIGHT partners to carry out international exchanges that help the reflection on interdisciplinary experiences related to active methodologies, focusing on the development of critical thinking and interdisciplinary collaborative work. We are open to research visits, sharing experiences, round tables, debates, and in the medium or long term, the request for joint projects..
